Nashville

I was excited to see Nashville, and with good reason. Its a very cool city! There is alittle something for everyone. From Honky Tonk to a life size reconstruction of the Parthenon and many great restaurants (well, from the looks of it, I only went to 2!). We didn't have time for much between the kids' naps and Easter Egg Hunts but we did squeeze in two restaurants and a quick tour of downtown.
I'd love to go back and see the Country Music Hall of Fame, Conference Center and maybe some live music. Here are some of my favourite pics...

This street was amazingly vibrant. It bustled with tourists and musicians alike while live music drifted out from the many bars.

A sign with a cowboy boot AND and huge barrel...I had to take this pic.
Why not show your school spirit with some custom cowboy boots?

No explanation needed.

This restaurant was all about comfort food: fried pickles, BBQ sandwiches, mac and cheese and fried chicken! We even discovered that Dom likes grits!

Does this constitute drinking and driving? Or are you wearing it off because our pedaling? Either way, a picture was needed.

I didn't know what was cooler the "Wanna B's" Karaoke bar or the horse and carriage.

  1. Thank you for the pictures. Ted and I went there once for a conference and we had the opportunity to go to the Country Music Hall of Fame and it was great. Very nice place indeed!. Did you guys buy a pair of cowboy boots? Ciao for now. Lynn
