Vegas baby!!!

How to describe Vegas? ...Hmmm, I think Vegas is like Disneyland for adults. The hotels are so big and elaborate that they remind me of being a kid in an amusement park looking up at all the rides. Vegas also has dressed up characters walking around...though they're a little scarier or sexier or both. (I don't have many pictures of them, cause I was afraid that they would want money) there were the Mario Bros and Hello Kitty but also Freddy Kruger and a massive alien...oh and I forgot all the feathered show girls!!!?!
Las Vegas is also like an adult Disneyland because it really caters to any whim or want that an adult could want. Yes, gambling and drinking anywhere but also shows ( comedy, circus, singers and musicals) spas, pools, shopping and then there's just walking around and seeing the hotels/casinos. Each hotel/casino is a city block by a city block: HUGE. I was so blown away by the size of things.
Our friends Nat & Louis joined us in Vegas. It was really great to share the experience. We went to a great restaurant called Mon Amie Gabi that was in The Paris Hotel/Casino. Yum! The next day we went to a brunch buffet. (Which is apparently very Vegas) walked around and then that evening Dave and I got a sitter and the four of us went to see the Cirque du Soleil show, "O". It was awesome! It incorporated divers, scuba divers, synchronized swimmers, acrobats and of course clowns. I had to keep reminding myself to close my mouth. It was so good.
Dominic has been a total trooper. He's been sleeping fairly well and has been making friends with everyone he can. We've been really lucky. He was pretty cool about the Vegas craziness even the scary alien didn't phase him. I could learn a thing or two from him :-)
