From Redstones Back to Bright Lights

Our last morning near the Grand Canyon Dave, Nat and Louis got up at 4:45am to go see the sunrise. I decided to stay at the hotel with Dominic. For those of you that know me, you know early mornings aren't really a problem for me...I just couldn't imagine waking up a 10 month old to put him in a snowsuit and bring him out in the (literally) freezing cold while I stood around taking pics...so I skipped it. Dave, Nat and Louis, however were total troopers and did go see it AND brought back some amazing pics.
Once they got back we had breakfast, packed and headed back to Las Vegas. Nat and Louis had to catch a flight to San Diego that night. It was a less busy drive (with many of us sleeping all at once) but it was fun to see the contrast between the two places.
After dropping the happy couple off at the airport, Dave, Dom and I checked in to our hotel. We stayed at Terrible's which appeared to live up to its name but the room (once we got through the smoky casino) was great. We totally forgot to take pictures. It was something to see. I'm adding a link to the hotel but I'll try to find pics of what it REALLY looks like from the outside. Seriously, I was worried.

Ok, here is a pic. The cowboy was everywhere in the casino. They even had door handles in the shape of the the cowboy. Funny!

That night we went to eat at Gordon Ramsey Burger. BEST BURGER EVER. Heck, best fries ever! Amazing!
What a long and crazy day.

A couple of Dave's amazing pics of the Canyon at sunrise...

Here is our room. Much nicer than expected!

Mmmmmmm, parmesan truffle fries!
