We really lucked out on weather for our stay at the Canyon. It was supposed to be rainy and overcast our first and only full day but it ended up being sunny and beautiful. We hiked from Mather's point to the Bright Angel Lodge (for those of you that have been) it took us a few hours but it was fun. We took a crazy amount of pictures and just enjoyed the view. Dom slept for half of it, which was perfect. It was a great day. I know I sound like a cliche but, the Grand Canyon is simply breathtaking. I was in complete awe. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves...enjoy!

| I thought this tree was pretty cool. You actually couldn't see the Canyon from any of the parking lots because there were so many trees. Live and dead like this one. |
